Physical Description: Trans woman with pale skin, short dishwater blonde hair and green eyes. Has a beauty mark near her upper lip. Wears a rumpled suit with a long, dark coat.
Disposition: At her best, Beatrix is incisive, driven, and strategic. She has a strong rebellious impulse, as well as a strong impulse to pursue knowledge-- especially "forbidden" knowledge. She is strongly committed to freedom as a principle. At her worst, Beatrix can be resentful, obsessive, and prone to instrumentalizing others in her quests for knowledge and freedom. Her not too strongly begrudging those angry at her is often cold comfort to those she's befriended then abandoned once they're no longer useful.
Background:Most recently employed by Maven's Marvels, a traveling circus operating in Laikor¹, performing knife throwing and various other stunts. She spent her early childhood in Kaltvak², the first child of ichor³ magnate Wilhelm Kaiser and academic Mary Kaiser (nee Maven). In her early teens, she was sent to boarding school in Laikor for the rest of her adolescence. She is currently responsible for the care of her younger sister, Noemi, after their parents' deaths. She came into her job at Maven's Marvels by way of being Edward Maven's niece.
Likes: Dark chocolate; sweet and salty foods together; the sea; knife-throwing; string music; reptiles.
Dislikes: Hot, sunny weather.
